Noscotek, with a group of their South African Laserfiche resellers and customers had the privilege to attend the Laserfiche Empower 2016 conference in Long Beach, California this January.
It was among 2 700 other Laserfiche customers from around the world that were taking part in the company’s annual training and networking event.

Laserfiche’ s fully integrated software suite is used by over 35 000 organisations worldwide, which include anyone from government agencies to Fortune 1000 companies. During the conference, Laserfiche honoured 47 organisations from around the world with the prestigious Run Smarter Award, which honours organisations that use Laserfiche to improve their productivity, processes and overall results. Noscotek can proudly announce that two of their customers; Avis Fleet and PERI Formwork Scaffolding Engineering South Africa, were among these 47 organisations.
Avis Fleet was one of three organisations that won the Laserfiche Run Smarter Award for the optimising accounting/finance processes category. By integrating Laserfiche with their financial management software, Avis Fleet simplified its accounts receivable transactions, automating approval for 86 000 invoices processed each month, increasing security and transparency, as well as reducing processing time by 15 to 25%. Noscotek congratulates Michael Re’ and Vincent Kelly from Avis fleet for winning this award. Avis Fleet is the first organisation in the world to win the Run Smarter Award three times.
The Run Smarter Award for the enhancing how they provide customer service category was also awarded to three organisations, one of which was PERI South Africa. They deployed Laserfiche to provide customers with Web-based access to monthly statements and invoices. This initiative decreased the time it took to process invoices and it improved the customer experience, all while addressing regulatory compliance requirements. Noscotek would like to congratulate Jacques Lotriet from PERI South Africa for winning this award.

Laserfiche President, Karl Chan announced the immediate availability of Laserfiche 10 at the conference. Chan has stated that “Laserfiche 10 is designed to supercharge your content-driven business processes, helping you redesign the flow of information throughout your entire enterprise”.
It features an extensive Business Process Library that will enable organisations to quickly optimise a variety of business processes. It includes hundreds of new industry specific templates, a discussion thread, checklists, support for Windows, iOS and Android mobile devices, as well as business analytics, among other additions and enhancements.
After the conference was held, Noscotek was invited alongside an elite group of value-added resellers (VARs), to attend the Winners Circle retreat. They were recognised as a top-selling achiever within the Laserfiche VAR community and were part of the 58 VARs worldwide that were honoured with the top-selling Winners’ Circle Achievers Award.
